Where we are
Lucky Dog 420 is at 974 NY-67, the stretch of Route 67 between the village and the Northway. From the county courthouse on Front Street, take Church Avenue south and stay on 67. It’s 1.1 miles and about three minutes. Coming from Malta or Exit 12, you reach us before the village.
Technically the store sits in the Town of Ballston, just outside the village line. The mail still says Ballston Spa 12020, and so do we.
What the store is like
Google reviewers keep describing it as a log cabin, and that’s fair. Barn-wood walls, a wide front deck and a long counter where you can see the product before you buy it. There’s a large accessories wall too.
The team spends time on terpene profiles and how different strains are grown, so you can ask a real question and get a real answer. Tell them what you liked last time and what you didn’t. They’ll walk you through options without pushing the most expensive thing on the shelf.
A shop with a cause
The name comes from a dog, and part of what we do goes back to animal welfare: veterinary care access, adoption programs and behavioral support for animals that need it. We’re a Ballston Spa business first, and we want to show up for the village that way.
